Coming to therapy is daunting for many clients. If this is your first time, and even if it’s not, talking about difficulties and being vulnerable is not easy. It’s important to feel comfortable sharing aspects of yourself that have been difficult to acknowledge. I provide a non-judgmental approach where clients feel supported and safe while exploring concerns that have negatively impacted their lives.
I work with adults of all ages and offer a highly interactive approach with empathy and kindness and have experience in many areas including:
• low self-esteem
• assertiveness/confidence
• relationship difficulties
• emotional volatility
• anxiety disorders and over-thinking
• depression
• traumatic events/childhood experiences
• life transitions/personal and professional growth
Using a variety of therapeutic approaches allows maximum flexibility and tailoring to meet client’s needs and preferences. This plan recognizes individuals’ unique concerns and life situations, helping address recurring inner conflict and turmoil. I combine techniques from Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Relational Life Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with aspects of attachment theory and neurobiology through a trauma-informed lens.
